Is the system logging daemon running? Try the command "ps -ef |
grep syslog".
Is the "hupsyslog" utility owned by root and setuid? Try the command
"ls -l bin/hupsyslog"
Is SELINUX disabled? Try the command "fgrep SELINUX /etc/selinux/config".
