Gilbert, Our LDM successfully processed the WMO bulletin you identified. We'd like you to manually process the bulletin. Steve Chiswell has written a script to do just that. Please do the following: 1) Download the attached gzipped tar file 2) Unpack it by running the following command: gunzip -c test_pqsurf.tar.gz | tar xvf - 3) Change to the test directory cd test_pqsurf 4) Run the test script ./runtest.csh (The script assumes that the LDM bin directory is in your path). The script will create a surftest."pid" directory, make data queues, insert the SPECI report into the LDM data queue, and then invoke pqsurf with a configuration-file that will file the individual reports. You should find 5 SPECI reports under surftest."pid"/data/metars: 2007053118_KDEC.speci 2007053118_KJCT.speci 2007053118_KMTH.speci 2007053118_KGWO.speci 2007053118_KLWM.speci Let us know what you discover.
