[LDM #EOX-180677]: Bug found in LDM 6.4.7.2

If you're willing, then try

    ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/ldm/beta/ldm-6.4.7.3.tar.Z

It has a correction that might solve the problem.
