[Support #ZBZ-540988]: Problem setting up LDM 6.4.5 on Solaris 5.10

I built the LDM package on the following system:

    $ uname -a
    SunOS buddy.unidata.ucar.edu 5.10 Generic_Patch i86pc i386 i86pc

using the both gcc 4.0.2 and gcc 3.4.5.  It was necessary to restrict the
build to supporting only small (i.e., less than 4 GB) product-queues:

    $ ./configure --disable-max-size ...

If that is acceptible, then you might try that option.
