Jiangyi, (My, you're in early :-) > For step 1, I got the following error message: > > Making `install_setuids' in directory /rainbow/ldm/ldm-6.4.5/src/ulog > make PROGRAM=hupsyslog \ > /usr/local/ldm/ldm-6.4.5/bin/hupsyslog > c89 -o hupsyslog -O -64 -DNDEBUG -I.. -I../config hupsyslog.c > ./libldm.a > > ld64: FATAL 9 : I/O error (../libldm.a): No such file or directory > *** Error code 2 (bu21) > *** Error code 1 (bu21) > *** Error code 1 (bu21) > *** Error code 1 (bu21) > *** Error code 1 (bu21) Sorry. My fault. I forgot that I did a "make clean" in the source-directory, which caused the error. Please do this for step 1, instead: 1. As root in the directory "/rainbow/ldm/ldm-6.4.5/bin", execute the commands chown root rpc.ldmd hupsyslog chmod 4755 rpc.ldmd hupsyslog Regards, Steve Emmerson Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: ALU-416552 Department: Support LDM Priority: Normal Status: Closed
