Then a downstream LDM on Hawaii should be able to connect to an upstream

What do the following emit when executed on Hawaii by the LDM user?
ldmping -i0 -h mahele
notifyme -vl- -h mahele
You will have to kill (control-C) the last command to stop it.
What are the entries in the LDM configuration-file on Mahele that allow a
downstream LDM on Hawaii to request data?
What version of the LDM is running on Mahele?
