I implemented the changes you sugested in the /etc/syslog.conf file and =
tried to start again ldm.  Here it is what I got:

The product-queue is OK.
/usr/local/ldm/etc/pqact.conf is syntactically correct

[ldm@squall ldm]$ ldmadmin watch
Nov 3 16:14:50 UTC squall.ias.sdsmt.edu : There is no LDM server running
[ldm@squall ldm]$ ldmadmin stop
Flushing the LDM product-queue to disk...

I also tried this command:

[ldm@squall ldm]$

It looks that I still need help to figure out why is not working. =20
