The LDM 6.4.1 on our Linux 2.6.12-1.1398_FC4smp system crashed but
didn't produce a core-file.  I've modified the source-code to workaround
this non-standard behavior of Linux and restarted the LDM.

I'll let you know if it crashes again and, if so, what I find.
