Hi Chris,

>Does the "REQUEST" command get executed periodically or is there some
>registration process and the downstream is notified immediately?

A request is made at startup of the downstream LDM and is repeated
periodically until a connection is made.

>I would like to send data every 5 seconds .....

Once a request has been honored/accepted, data can flow whenever it
is available.

Cheers,

Tom
