I suspect that Oceanlab is connecting to port 388 on Ldm but that the LDM server on Ldm doesn't have an ALLOW-entry in it's configuration-file that enables it to accept the incoming connection. Check the LDM configuration-file, ldmd.conf, on Ldm. What entry would allow it to accept a connection from Oceanlab? > Thanks, Gerry > -- > Gerry Creager - address@hidden > Texas Mesonet - AATLT, Texas A&M University > Office: 903A Eller Bldg, TAMU, College Station, TX 77843 Regards, Steve Emmerson
