>From: Unidata User Support <address@hidden> >Organization: UCAR/Unidata >Keywords: 200406220437.i5M4beWb016431 LDM RAID fsck Hi Gerry, First, I sent the sysadmin at ULM, Adam Taylor, an email (that asked him to change his CRAFT feed from bigbird to emo) right after talking to you yesterday. I have not received any reply from Adam, and I see that he/ULM is still feeding CRAFT from you. I have to believe that shutting down bigbird's LDM would not be a big deal from ULM since they are just getting toing on Level II ingestion/processing. Next, I logged onto bigbird this morning to see if you had had a chance to run fsck on /dev/md0. I noticed that syslogd was not running so I restarted it using: sudo /etc/init.d/syslog restart /var/log/messages is once again being filled with EXT2-fs errors, so I know that you have not had the chance to get to fsck. I can run it on bigbird if you like. I would run it in non-interactive mode using: fsck -p /dev/md0 Please let me know if you would like me to do this. Isn't wireless connectivity a wonderful way to spoil a vacation!
