The above message contained the following:

OK.

If the following output from "ldm-6.0.14/bin/ldmadmin config" looks
good:

    hostname: ls1-msr.msr.noaa.gov
    os: HP-UX
    release: B.10.20
    ldmhome: /usr/local/ldm
    bin path: /usr/local/ldm/bin
    conf file: /usr/local/ldm/etc/ldmd.conf
    log file: /usr/local/ldm/logs/ldmd.log
    data path: /usr/local/ldm/data
    product queue: /usr/local/ldm/data/ldm.pq
    queue size: 400000000 bytes
    PID file: /usr/local/ldm/ldmd.pid
    LDMHOSTNAME: ls1-msr.msr.noaa.gov
    PATH:
/usr/local/ldm/bin:/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/ucb:/usr/usb:/usr/etc:/etc:/usr/bin:/usr/ccs/bin:/usr/contrib/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/contrib/bin/X11:/opt/upgrade/bin:/etc:/usr/etc:/usr/local/bin:/opt/hpnp/bin:/usr/lib/prc:/sbin:/usr/sbin:$HOME/bin::/opt/pred/bin:/opt/java/bin:/opt/ignite/bin:/opt/resmon/bin:.:/home/mmz/bin:/home/mmz:/usr/local/ldm/bin

then you're ready to switch to LDM 6.0.14 by executing the following
commands as the LDM user:

    cd
    ldmadmin stop
ps -ef | grep ldmd # just to make sure everything has terminated
    rm runtime
    ln -s ldm-6.0.14 runtime
    ldmadmin start
ldmadmin watch # to see if it's working

Let me know how it goes.

Steve Emmerson
