Yup.  The statistics-collecting host, rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu, is 
hammered.  We might have to

    1.  Upgrade the hardware; or

    2.  Demote the ERROR: message to a NOTICE: so it won't appear in the
        logfile by default.  I don't like this because then nothing
        would appear to indicate a problem.
