Hi Karl, It appears as if you have resolved the issue, if not please let me know. If GEMPAK is not 5.6.J then additions need to be made to a table. <snip> The current distribution (5.6.J) contains entries in $GEMTBL/sat/imgtyp.tbl for GOES 11 and GOES 12.
