LDM 5.2 crash

Hiya,

Well, I been finally able to duplicate Gilbert's problem on Linux 7.1
system. It appears that pqsurf exits causing the whole process group to
exit. I plan on running pqsurf in debug mode if possible trying to narrow
down the problem. Actually, pqsurf exited in about 2 hours.  I was also
running the same configuration on wcfields, a Solaris 5.9 system, it's
still running ok.  So it appears to be platform dependant. Still
testing...

I'm running the test on imogene, hopefully this doesn't interfere with you
other LDM work.
