HI Jeff, We are neck deep in user committee meetings all day today and tomorrow. I will not be able to address it until the weekend or next week. You can install GEMPAK w/out a pqact.conf but no products will be available as pqact passes the GEMPAK decoders over the data...now you see why we wanted to save your old pqact.conf from back-up. I suspect Steve Chiswell will create enough of a pqact.conf to begin GEMPAK when he gets on your machine, i will then finish it for the other data products.. Thank you, -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Thu, 14 Mar 2002, Sitler Jeffrey L Civ AFIT/ENP wrote: > _ > Jeff, > Do you have a pqact.conf completion date? > I know you have other projects, just curious. > Do you know if I can install gempak and run it > without pqact.conf being complete? > I will try to do that if it is possible. > Hope all is well. > Thanks for the support. > Jeff >
