Here is the allow line I added in papagayo's ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf file:

allow   ANY-NLDN        mkc-65-26-24-74.kc.rr.com       # NWS Training Center, 
KC

An nslookup on this name from papagayo yields:

/home/ldm/logs% nslookup mkc-65-26-24-74.kc.rr.com
Server:  wins-primary.unl.edu
Address:  129.93.1.160

Name:    mkc-65-26-24-74.kc.rr.com
Address:  65.26.24.74

Reverse name lookup on the IP yields the same name:

/home/ldm/logs% nslookup 65.26.24.74
Server:  wins-primary.unl.edu
Address:  129.93.1.160

Name:    mkc-65-26-24-74.kc.rr.com
Address:  65.26.24.74

so the LDM on papagayo should be satisfied with the requesting machine's
identity.
