Hi Jeff,

Yes, your email connection has had problems.  I've been getting warnings
that my responses weren't getting through.  Here's a piece of one.

Rather than get me a separate account, it would be best if I could log
in to the ldm account.  So, I will need the ldm password.  The root
password would also be handy, if you're comfortable with that.  If not,
I can probably tell you what needs to be done as root.
