Hi Alan, I am a bit confused by your message. Firstly, allow and request are the standard semantics for the LDM. Secondly, I am not operating an LDM, but can if needed. I was hoping you may allow Warren the data and not pass it to your archive if that is what is causing the problems. I hear you are getting RECLASS statements from OU. Can you snip the tail(or relevant section) of your log file, that hopefully includes these RECLASS errors. We should be able to help solve this issue and then hopefully you can continue your feed to OU... Thank you, -Jeff ____________________________ _____________________ Jeff Weber address@hidden Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 ________________________________________ ______________________ On Thu, 27 Sep 2001, Alan Hall wrote: > Jeff, > > I can't remember if I sent you the info you needed, so incase I did not, here > it is again: > > In your ldmd.conf file you need an entry something like: > #Raleigh > accept NEXRD2 .KRAX ^205\.167\.25.171$ > #Columbia > accept NEXRD2 .KCAE ^205\.167\.25.171$ > #Wilmington > accept NEXRD2 .KLTX ^205\.167\.25.171$ > #Wakefield > accept NEXRD2 .KAKQ ^205\.167\.25.171$ > #Morehead City > accept NEXRD2 .KMHX ^205\.167\.25.171$ > #Charleston > accept NEXRD2 .KRLX ^205\.167\.25.171$ > > Re-cycle your LDM and let me know and I will add the "send" to my ldmd.conf so > Warren can start receiving the data. > > Alan. > > Jeff Weber wrote: > > > Hello Steve and Alan, > > > > Glenn Rutledge passed your names to me as points of contact for this > > project. > > > > I was hoping to begin feeding the CRAFT Level II Radar data to > > Warren Blanchard at NWS/OST/SEC. > > > > Below you will find the information needed to include in your ldmd.conf > > file to allow a feed to 140.90.23.110 for the feedtype: NEXRD2 > > > > A full listing of the feedtypes can be found at: > > http://unidata.ucar.edu/packages/ldm/feedtypes/index.html > > > > Could you also please inform myself and Warren the name and IP of the > > machine your LDM is running on so he can point his request to the proper > > location. > > > > Thank you for your cooperation, this will be a great leap in weather radar > > science. > > > > Site Name: NWS/OST/SEC > > > > Site Administrator: Warren Blanchard W/OST32 > > > > Email Address: address@hidden > > > > Phone Number: 301.713.1570 x130 > > > > Fully Qualified Hostname of the IDD Node: 140.90.23.110 > > ***No assigned DNS name. > > The address is within nws.noaa.gov. > > > > -Jeff > > ____________________________ _____________________ > > Jeff Weber address@hidden > > Unidata Support PH:303-497-8676 > > NWS-COMET Case Study Library FX:303-497-8690 > > University Corp for Atmospheric Research 3300 Mitchell Ln > > http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/jweber Boulder,Co 80307-3000 > > ________________________________________ ______________________ >
