Pete,

Well, I was developing a hypothesis about pqing not being in the same
process group as the ldm, but now I see that doesn't apply.  But, there
was nothing in your log that indicated that pqing was exiting.  Did you
have to 'kill -9' pqing as well as rpc.ldmd?
