Chuck,
How long have you been running 5.1.2 on your server? When you installed it did
you build a new product queue? (Recall that changing from 5.1.1 to 5.1.2
requires building a new queue.) We had at least one HP-UX user who installed
5.1.2 without making a new queue, and his symptom was raging process creation
like you're experiencing. That might also explain difficulty in starting the
LDM.
