Christian,

The pqsurf.conf file is located in the etc/ directory along with the
pqact.conf file. It uses the same type of actions as pqact but the file
names are usually lower case. ie,

WMO ^sao .. (...) ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])
       DBFILE /weather/ddp/(\2:yy)(\2:mm)\2\3.sa_gdb \1
WMO ^sao ... (...) ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])
       DBFILE /weather/ddp/(\2:yy)(\2:mm)\2\3.sa_gdb \1
DDPLUS ^sao USP (...) ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])
       FILE data/weather/sao/(\2:yy)(\2:mm)\2\3.URGENT

One can run pqsurf from the command line to see what the products look
like if it's a standard LDM configuration, otherwise one needs to use all
the flags:

% pqsurf -vl -

It seems that it would eliminate duplicate entries for WMO

It will eliminate duplicate reports if the reports are exactly the same. I
don't know if the bulletin times will cause the reports to look
differently.

Don't forget to make the surfqueue.

% ldmadmin mksurfqueue

Give it a try and let me know how it works out.
