Hiya,

Your pqact entry is not quite correct, the \n corresponds to the (). The
\3 in your file name is (/mAVN|/mSSIAVN) which is unconventional( illegal) 
file name . Maybe you should change it to:

data/GRIB/(\1:yy)(\1:mm)\1\2.avn

The data will be written to a file similar to:

data/GRIB/99121612.avn

The reason you are not seeing any data files is that the LDM configuration
has a problem. From the log files, it start up then exits.  There is
debug information in the top of the etc/ldmd.conf file.  Try start the LDM
from the command line in the LDM home dir, ie

% bin/rpc.ldmd -vl - etc/ldmd.conf

The log messages will come to the screen and should show you the problem.
