Thanks Ning, I hate to say this, but ldm-5.0.5 is about 2 years old, the latest release is ldm-5.0.8 The good news is that there are binary releases out for most platforms. You didn't say what platforn you are using? There are online instructions at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/packages/ldm/index.html Look at: LDM Preinstallation Check List LDM Binary Installation Check List LDM Source Installation Check List After you get it installed, then you can do a notifyme to your upstream node to see if the configurations are correct. % notifyme -vl - -h dragon.geog.ubc.ca. Also, I would make sure the time is set correctly on your machine. If the time is off then you will not receive any data.
