Re: 19991116: system crash

I logged into kelvin, the ldm queue was corrupt so I rebuilt it and
started the ldm. You are receiving data now.  You syslog deamon died, it
needs to be restarted as root. As root:

% cd /etc/init.d 
% syslog start

Anytime you have a system crash, always rebuild the ldm queue.
