By pqsurf.pid, I mean the process ID of pqsurf, you can get it by:
% ps -eaf | grep pqsurf
If it's running.

Try starting pqsurf from LDMHOME on the command line, you might want to
use the flag -vl - -q <location of queue> ....
I have a created a pqsurf.conf file in
