Deb, Somehow your system had an abnormal stop which leaves the lock files intact. These lock files are used to prevent 2 users trying to do a critical command at the same time, ie start the system. To clear the lock files use: % ldmadmin clean % ldmadmin stop % ldmadmin start Also, one should check that port 388 is not being used by: % rpcinfo -p Robb...
