Hi Mike and Steven,

We now know what is going on, but not why...

For some reason we don't (yet) understand, 'pnga2area' run directly
from a 'pqact' pattern-action file action fails because the LDM-6.10.1
shared library, libldm.so.0, is not found ** even though LD_LIBRARY_PATH
is correctly defined in the environment in which the LDM is started/run.
I proved this by copying a statically-linked version of 'pnga2area' to
your machine and running it instead of the dynamically-linked version
that you built. The proof is that the GOES-East IR decoding by 'pnga2area'
is working correctly from the original pqact.conf pattern.

In order to really figure out what is going on, it would be most useful
if we would be allowed to login to your machine from time-to-time and
run some tests. Would this be OK?

Cheers,

Tom
