University Ave., Laramie, WY 82071 > > First, you need to install a plugin for the WRF Hydro data type (tools > plugin manager). After restart the IDV, you can load the WRF-Hydro model output in the IDV by specifying the data source type as "WRF HYDRO files". The most popular display feature is the point cloud for the streamFlow parameter. One problem with the WRF Hydro is that the output format always changes and never being standardized, so you may need to adjust the output result to fit into the IDV.
