[IDV #MKR-443485]: stereo support on idv 5.0

Hi Al,

I am surprised you are having trouble with the latest nightly 5.3u1 on Windows
10 so I'm try to eliminate any source of uncertainty from my point of view. The
.unidata directory is where IDV settings are saved and is persistent from one
installation of the IDV to the next. But in some situations, they can interfere
with proper running of the IDV. I could have told you to delete the .unidata
directory but you may have settings therein you wish to keep. So, if possible,
please move or delete that .unidata (call it unidata.bak, or something)
directory. Download the latest nightly IDV, and start the IDV on that Windows 10
system.

Please keep us up-to-date on your progress.

Best,

Unidata IDV Support
