Hi Gilles, re: > Coming back to the GOES East West imagery, yesterday the GOES West > corresponding images were showing only one steady image, I mean going > through few hours of imagery on the western side it was showing the same > image from GOES 15 and not updating, Thanks for the heads up! re: > Also with Luis Farfan from La Paz, CICESE, we were wondering why GOES East > is taking much more time to update than GOES West, This may be due to some ingest noise being experienced. We will need to investigate. re: > For example, GOES West from 1330 Z is already available (which is quite > impressive since it is only 1345Z), but GOES East from 1315Z just got > available few minutes before, Are you referring to images in the Unidata-Wisconsin datastream (the images available in the IDD UNIWISC (aka MCIDAS) datastream)? If yes, it could be due to a couple of things. re: > Any hint? No, not off of the top of my head. Please be aware that I am currently in China, and my Internet access is severely limited. Because of this, my ability to troubleshoot GOES ingest problems is very limited. Since today is a travel day for me, I won't be able to look into the GOES ingest and/or UNIWISC product generation issues until possibly this afternoon, tomorrow morning or Sunday. I apologize for this, but there is nothing I can do to change the situation I am in.
