[IDV #ZOC-798503]: failed to strat IDV

Yan,

Please give us more information. Please tell us what operating system you are
running on and what version of the IDV you are trying to start.

You may also try to move the ~/.unidata directory out of the way.

mv ~/.unidata ~/dotunidata

and restart the IDV.
