Xiaotong,

First off, please update your IDV to the latest stable version. 3.0 is quite 
old, http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp.

Secondly, please move or rename your \Users\Administrator\.unidata folder. It 
may be corrupted.
