Carlos, I believe the culprit is the Time dimension of "days" in your netCDF file. This is not valid CF for time (http://cf-pcmdi.llnl.gov/documents/cf-conventions/1.0/cf-conventions.html#time-coordinate). With some NCML I altered the time unit to "days since 1990-1-1 0:0:0". You'll have to adjust it appropriately with your knowledge of the data with respect to time. I have attached the NCML which I can use to successfully display your data in the IDV.
