[IDV #REC-248405]: inconsistency in subsetting

Ghansham,
        The issue you described here is not a bug, it is the designed of this 
software. In the property panel, everything is applied to the whole dataset, 
and the subset panel is only to the specific variable. When you choose the use 
default, anything on the subset will be ignored, and those properties from the 
property panel will be used. when you unchecked the use default checkbox, those 
settings on this panel will be used. Between check and uncheck this checkbox, 
the value not being updated, and this may cause some confusion. If you have any 
better solution, give it a try.
