Hi James- > The version is IDV 2.7u2 with build date 2009-08-26 16:33 UTC. I just tried opening the file that Angie sent (G11.20090602.0715.nc.gz) in IDV 2.7u2 and it worked. I had to set the Data Source Type to be Grid Files (netCDF/GRIB/OPeNDAP/GEMPAK) since the IDV doesn't understand the .gz suffix. Alternatively, if I gunzip the file, the IDV will recognize the unzipped file as a grid. What error are you seeing if this still does not work for you? Thanks for your patience.
