Hi Jacob- > All Satellite Imagery servers in the Data Chooser of the IDV have not updated > any data since approximately 14:00 UTC this morning. > The data appears to include the 4KM primary satellite channels including > Water Vapor, Infrared, and Visible. > Thanks for your time and help. There is a problem with the GOES-12 satellite. Here's a notice about it: NESDIS HAS REPORTED A GOES-12 ANOMALY HAS BEEN NOTED. NESDIS HOPES TO HAVE GOES-12 BACK IN SERVICE AROUND 1700Z. AT THIS TIME GOES-11 IS OPERATING IN FULL DISK MODE. IF THE GOES-12 OUTAGE EXTENDS LONGER THAN EXPECTED WE MAY HAVE GOES-11 PLACED IN RAPID SCAN MODE TO HELP WITH THE SEVERE WEATHER METWATCH EFFORT. It seems to be updating again. Don Murray Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: JBF-311016 Department: Support IDV Priority: Normal Status: Open
