Hi Bryan- > Is it possible to create a vertical atmospheric profile (sounding) at a > lat/long point using archive model data? The model data that I am looking to > use is NCEP Reanalysis data from 1955. If you have temperature and relative humidity or dewpoint and a 3D grid, you should be able to use the model sounding capability of the IDV to display a sounding. It's an interactive process at the moment, so it's not easy to display at a specific lat/lon point.
