For example, if I have my data and my xidv files in > home/dtyndall/idv, I would much rather have IDV try to open up the data files > from ./ instead of /home/dtyndall/idv. I'm currently running into problems if > I try to move the files over to another user or a completely different > computer network. It's on our list of things to do, we just haven't gotten around to it yet. It'll take a little bit of creative coding to make sure we are backward compatible. Basically, we are thinking that when the bundle is saved, there will be an option to set the paths relative instead of absolute. On opening, there will either be a property or some way to set the top level directory for relative paths. Since some datasets can be local and others remote in the same bundle, we have to work through this carefully to make sure we don't break anything. Thanks for your thoughts on this.
