Are you using Web Start or did you use the InstallAnywhere installer? If you used the installer, it is recommended that you install the version of Java that comes with the installer. If you are using Web Start, Java 3D should download automatically. If that is the case, then there is a problem. Please let us know how you are installing/running the IDV.
