Other software downloads are fine.The issue here is i think is because i use webstart to install the idv.Has any one got this problem before?

What problem are you having with Webstart? Is webstart installed on the machines? 

Did you try the idv webstart link on the page:
http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/content/software/IDV/webstart/IDV/index.html

Did that fail? What was the error message?
