It seems to be a java error, but I installed IDV to use its own >Java so I don't know why it crashes. Can you make sense of this? I just upgraded to 2.6.11-1.27_FC3smp and don't have a problem running with the 1.2b2 version. It's probably not something tied to the kernel, but more a problem with the video driver. Was it ever working on this machine and if so, did it just stop working when the kernel was upgraded? What kind of video card is in this machine? Are you running a special driver for the card? Sorry I'm not much help, but from the error, it looks like an X'ish problem. >An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the >VM. >Unexpected Signal : 11 occurred at PC=3D0xB030C6 >Function=3DXSync+0x36 >Library=3D/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 > >Current Java thread: > at javax.media.j3d.Canvas3D.createContext(Native Method) > at javax.media.j3d.Renderer.doWork(Renderer.java:687) > - locked <0x9362cee0> (a java.lang.Object) > at javax.media.j3d.J3dThread.run(J3dThread.java:250) > >Dynamic libraries: >00485000-00489000 r-xp 00000000 03:06 651663>/usr/X11R6/lib/libXxf86vm.so.1.0 >00489000-0048a000 rwxp 00003000 03:06 651663>/usr/X11R6/lib/libXxf86vm.so.1.0 ....
