I think the issue was that when we added clipping, we didn't have
a way for the user to set the vertical scale.  Now that we have that,
we might want to rethink whether we should have the top and bottom
clipped.  If the user wants to see all of the data, then they can
just reset the vertical scale.

You could use the resampleGrid Jython method, but you'd have to
construct the grid to resample to and that would be rather
complicated and require a bit of an understanding of VisAD.
