Hi Dennis,



I still think that Vivek is having problems with his display driver.  All
of the IDL windows come up, but the data view (the OpenGL part
I assume) is blank.  Do you have any simple java openGL programs
that we could run to see if openGL is really the problem ?
Off hand I am not aware of a simple java3d test program. Probably a pretty good 
bet that if the main display window is blank then it is something wrong with
the graphics card/driver. I'm pinging Don about this - he's out of town this week 
but he probably has  a better answer.


Also.. I am still trying to hunt some data to test this out, but will
IDV display RHI data correctly?  I think that it will, but have not
confirmed this yet.
I'm a bit out of the loop here. Do you mean Dorade RHI files? If so, then, yes, 
the IDV can display them (and we assume it is correct).
