Hi Rich-

First, please send messages to support in plain text (or use the

But I was able to read it as:

The WMS server interface in IDV was a proof of concept and has
not been tested or finished.  No one is working on finishing this
at this time.  Only layers that are queriable for extents can be
accessed.

What data do you want to access from the WMS server?  We are more
likely to go the route of a Web Coverage Server (WCS) interface
for future development.
