>From: "Jonathan Perriault" <address@hidden> >Organization: none >Keywords: 200410271137.i9RBbqjb014413 IDV language Hi Jonathan- >Institution: Weather Station / Personal >Package Version: 1.1 >Operating System: Windows 2000 >Hardware Information: P4 3Ghz - Nvidia GeForce 3 - RAM 1GHZ >Inquiry: I can't use IDV because when i launch it i have a error message : The problem is that the IDV does not work with regional/language settings other than the United States. This will be fixed in the next release (at least it won't err out). Until then, you could set your regional settings to the United States to test the IDV. Use the Control Panel->Regional and Language Options from the Windows Task Bar to change this. >An error has occurred: Loading parameter to color table properties Unparseab > le number: ".25" > >Details : >java.lang.NumberFormatException: Unparseable number: ".25" > > at ucar.unidata.util.Misc.parseValue(Misc.java:2561) > > at ucar.unidata.util.Misc.parseDouble(Misc.java:2931) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.ui.ParamDefaultsEditor.createParamInfoList(ParamDef > aultsEditor.java:1125) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.ui.ParamDefaultsEditor.loadParamDefaults(ParamDefau > ltsEditor.java:1030) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.ui.ParamDefaultsEditor.init(ParamDefaultsEditor.jav > a:1167) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.ui.ParamDefaultsEditor.<init>(ParamDefaultsEditor.j > ava:220) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.IdvBase.doMakeParamDefaultsEditor(IdvBase.java:632) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.IdvBase.getParamDefaultsEditor(IdvBase.java:648) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.StateManager.initState(StateManager.java:262) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.IntegratedDataViewer.<init>(IntegratedDataViewer.ja > va:239) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.DefaultIdv.<init>(DefaultIdv.java:78) > > at ucar.unidata.idv.DefaultIdv.main(DefaultIdv.java:160) > >Could you explain me why ? > >Thanks. > > > Don Murray NOTE: All email exchanges with Unidata User Support are recorded in the Unidata inquiry tracking system and then made publicly available through the web.
