Hi Glenn-

Like a charm. thanks.

Which file from the FTP directory did you try to load. I tried
the .grads and .grb files with no luck (as I expected). Are you
running them through a GDS server after downloading? Otherwise,
how are you loading them in?

I looked at the ctl files and for O3_3D_G1.200317512.ctl, the vertical
levels seem to be sigma coordinates which we don't handle in
the IDV. The IDV needs to convert the sigma to pressure levels.

The O3_3D_G1.200317512_2.ctl seems better, but I'm not sure what
units the GDS is putting out for those. I suspect they are using
"mb" instead of mbar or hPa, but the latest version of the IDV
has a hack to handle "mb".

I'd need more info on what file and how you are loading it to be
of more help.

Thanks.

Don
