There may be an error in our automatic IDV startup information, but so far as I know all the methods specify 500 MB or more. We never would set up the IDV to run with less than 256 MB, expect by mistake. Please tell us exactly how you start the IDV. How are you running the IDV? please say exactly as follows - 1. Web Start - please send the URL you are pointing to to start the IDV from Web Start. 2. InstallAnywhere installer files - please say which file you used. 3. Running directly from a jar file. I suspect you are not running the IDV this way. **************************************************************************** Unidata User Support UCAR Unidata Program 303 497 8643 P.O. Try running the IDV software (Beta-5)
on windows and then answer my questions.... Sometimes the documents and
requirements are a reflection of the product when it is totally completed and not
in its "beta" phase... I would definitely suggest running IDV (as well as reading the
documents) and make sure that the specs are in agreement with the written word
and reality...
John McCormick
John McCormick wrote:
Stuart:
That's not the point... Our IDV Web Start jnlp files
specify, I believe, at least 500 MB at startup.
