Hi, re: > Was there a shot gap in the NEXRAD3 radars on May 29 between 01:00 and 01:20 > Z? Here are the number of NEXRAD Level 3 products received by one of our NOAAPort ingest systems for the period 20210528.2000 - 20210528.0500: 20210528T20 - 117231 20210528T21 - 120509 20210528T22 - 120567 20210528T23 - 119880 20210529T01 - 117534 20210529T02 - 116789 20210529T03 - 113190 20210529T04 - 111253 20210529T05 - 110647 As you can see, the numbers of NEXRAD Level 3 products received per hour is reasonably consistent throughout this 9 hour period. Since all of these products are sent to our IDD relay clusters, they should have been available in the feed to CMC machine(s). A closer look at the receipt of NEXRAD Level 3 products in the 1 Z hour on the 29 shows a gap from 01:09 until 01:24 Z, and this shows that the product were not sent by the NWS in NOAAPort. The number of products received in the full hour, however, strongly suggests that the products were, in fact, sent after the delay.
