Hi Mike, re: > I just received your announcement email about the changes to the > FNEXRAD feed, including MRMS products. > > I wanted to start by asking about the date. The email said: " Next > Wednesday, May 19, the contents of the FNEXRAD feed will be enhanced..." > But the 19th was two days ago. Did you mean May 26th? Yes indeed, I meant Wednesday, May 26, not Wednesday, May 19. I'll send out a correction. re: > I also wanted to know if there were any differences between the MRMS > products that will be on the FNEXRAD feed vs. those coming over > NOAAPort/SBN. Yes, definitely. There may be some overlap, but not much as I have been told. re: > If it's essentially the same data I'd like to filter it out > from FNEXRAD, but if there are some differences I'd be interested to know. There are very few MRMS products being distributed in NOAAPort. There are approx. 140 in the set of products we will be adding to FNEXRAD. Aside: The products that we will be distributing are a subset of what we get in an LDM feed from NCEP/NCO.
